Cant believe I forgot

The cutest thing I forgot to mention today has been ab out her bike.  Great Aunt Angie bought Little Bit her 1st bike when she was born.  So, Daddy placed it in the attic to keep it safe...Yesterday we had to empty the attic and down came the bike.  Needless to say, she has been obsessed with it since.  She and her Daddy even take mini rides throughout the house.  It has been so much fun watching her with the bike.  Here is the picture my sister took this morning.

New Stuff going on!

Well, Little Bit is starting to say a few more words every now and again.  Recently she has been telling everyone Bye or Bye-Bye while she waves them out the door.  We have heard "Gate" and "Up" occasionally.  Funny story about Mama and Daddy-the other night we were hanging with Auntie A. talking and what-not when Little One jibberjabbered...We swear it sounded just like "Everyone look at me"....it was the funniest thing ever.  However, if you are not her parent, it probably sounded like "blahbe da deede."  Ha!  Regardless, she still speaks her own language even though it is OBVIOUS she knows exactly what we mean when we talk to her.

As she grows she resembles her daddy more and more.  Not necessarily looks wise, but personality wise.  Everything has its own place and must return to its spot.  She knows where the trashcans are in each room and knows that her dirty diaper goes into one of them.  She has to try to accomplish her own objective before she goes to the next thing and does NOT like anyone's help...She is a Big Girl and can do it herself!  She is the best helper ever and loves to help us around the house.

Let me just say, Little Bit LOVES LOVES LOVES her little brother.  She has to say hi to him first every morning (by waving to him)...he receives kisses before Mama...and she has to point/poke every body part and have Mama name them, including the eyeballs.  She loves to run check on him when she hears him wake up, then steals his blanket right off of him!  haha.  Lately she has been wanting to hold him on her lap, so Brother is ever so gently placed on her lap so she can hold him herself.  Let  me just say, this is a real thrill for her.  Once she is done she practically shoves him off her lap.  haha!  Yes, yes, Mama doesn't ever leave their sides and always catches little Brother.

The past month Little Bit has taken a real interest in books and reading.  I might have mentioned this in an earlier post so please forgive me.  Generally our reading consists of finding her favorite pages and pointing to the pictures, then slamming the book closed.  If we get 2 pages read, it is a major feat!  Today is a momentous occasion...Daddy was able to read an entire story ("Miss Spider's Tea Party" by David Kirk) from front to end without her ripping pages, closing the book early, or interrupting at all.  In fact, she sat quietly next to him and listened to the entire book.  Let me just say, MAJOR event in our household!

Love you all!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Little Bit is officially a Big Sister

Our dear loved ones,
Please forgive our tardiness in keeping you updated on Boo Bear's grand adventure in this life.  Mama Bear has had hardly a minute to even think, much less update our current status.  Let me try to catch up to date...it may even have to start backwards!

First and Foremost,  our precious Angel is officially a Big Sister!!!  Little Brother came this month and we have only been home from the hospital for a day or so.  Needless to say, we all are adjusting to the newness of Brother.  Firecracker seems to think that she is in charge of swinging him while he is in the swing.  Also, she the official bassinet pusher as she pushes his bassinet all over the house to help Mommy.  It is a good thing we decided to purchase a new swing just for Brother because she can swing in her own swing without being upset.  She doesn't quite understand WHY she can't hold brother or why Mama and Daddy keep telling her to "be gentle" or "no touchy" or "be sweet"...Sheesh, can't they tell I am? haha!  One of the biggest issues is that Mama cannot pick up Boo Boo for 6 weeks because of the C section.  Both Mama and Baby are sad...we love to snuggle.

Still Running-of course in the last month she has not slowed down one bit.  In fact, it is safe to say she is actually getting faster!  She can almost outrun her Daddy!  Mama calls her Faster than Lightning McQueen.  The day before Brother came, we all went to the park to play one last time as the three of us.  That Girl ran her daddy to death!  She also decided she was big enough that she could go down the slides at the park by herself.  In fact, she decided that it was more effective to run down the slide by herself!!!  About the scared the pee out of Mommy!!!

Pulls around her wagon-For her birthday Daddy had bought BooBear a wagon filled with building blocks.  Since then, her games with them have evolved.  Then, it was learning to throw all of the blocks out of the wagon.  Next, throw them out and put them back in.  Now, either place Dollie and Mickey in the wagon to haul them around the house, or dump them out and get in herself so Daddy can haul her around the house.  Mind you, the wagon is actually a decent size that may be difficult for many to maneuver, but not BooBoo...she is strong as an ox!  I have to say, even though I am definitely a bias mother, she truly is more athletically inclined.  She is super strong, very capable of lifting heavy items, and maneuvering large objects.  It is pretty incredible to witness.

Loves blanket surfing-What, may you ask, is Blanket Surfing?  It is all the rage in our house hold.  Step One:  Boo Boo grabs our very large, soft, white blanket from its spot.  Step Two: BooBoo drags/carries it to her Daddy.  Step Three:  BooBoo unfolds the blanket as best as she can and plops her bottom down on a corner.  Step Four:  BooBoo looks at Daddy, points, and "tells" him it is time to go!  Step Five:  Daddy takes the other ends and drags the blanket with her all over the house.  People, the kid could do this all day!  It is so fun to watch her enjoy surfing.

Dancing is more elaborate-Since first mentioning her love for dancing, Little Bit's actual dance moves have become more elaborate.  Now she incorporates her arms by alternating them in the up/down position, and together as she beats to the rhythm of the song.  She twirls round and round.  And lately she has this tap dance move she does with her feet.  It is the absolute cutest thing to witness.  Of course her taste in music is still the old country songs.

A Big Helper-Little Miss Sunshine continues to find joy in helping around the house.  Whether it is sweeping to vacuuming, she just loves to be involved.  Her favorite task is sweeping. In fact, if she sees you sweeping, she will RUN over, grab the broom from you, and begin sweeping by herself.  It will be interesting to see how she decides to help with Brother.  Let me also inform you, this child is her Father's daughter.  EVERYTHING has its own place.  Everything belongs back in its original place.  If you do not put it back where it was originally, she will do so for you.  Watching her develop and her personality has really helped me understand her father's mentality too.  :)

New Reading Time-Boo Bear has finally become interested in books.  Our reading time is a little different than others that I know.  Our reading time is directly after any and all meals.  She has her favorite 5 books that will be read throughout the day.  But, we still have a hard time finishing a story front to back...and she has a tendency to want to rip the pages out as you read.  And this too shall pass...But at least we have an interest in reading!  yay!

Today, she fed the cats all by herself!  Not all of the food made it to the dish, but hey, it is the thought and the actions that count.  Normal animal care schedule

Still not say many words-"Gate, Bye, and What" have been the 3 words we have clearly understood of late.  She does not speak many words, but she most definitely talks...it is just her own little babble language.  However, today she said 2 of the 3 words.  She was standing by the baby gate and out of the blue says "Gate."  Right before Daddy took her for bedtime, she waved goodnight to me, walked away, and said "Bye."  A week ago was when she said "What"....what was so funny was that it sounds just like the way Mama Bear says it!  Oh goodness...hahah!

the Best Snuggler in the world-She continues to be the absolute best cuddler in the world.  Both Mama and Daddy are super spoiled because she is such a snuggle bunny.  So Sweet!

Dinner time is self sufficient...at least to Boo Boo-Apparently we are entering a new phase of Toddler-isms.  One of the biggies is self sufficiency and boy does she have this one on lock down.  She is learning to feed herself with utensils.  Now that she thinks she's got the hang of it, every meal should be done her way.  If she is unable to feed herself, she promptly informs you that is unacceptable and sometimes refuses to eat!  Crazy kid.

So, I think this catches you up to our current status.  Hopefully I will be a little better at updating in a more timely manner.  But, with a brand new baby, only time will tell!  :)

Love you all

Crazy Kid

This kid is the funniest, craziest daredevil I have ever known!  She has no fear.  She is demanding her autonomy in a BIG way.  She has decided she likes her "old" baby swing again.  So, with reckless abandonment, she climbs into all by herself, rocks her body so she is swinging, and gets down out of it.  What am I going to do when baby brother gets here?  ha!  Little Bit also has sooo much energy... it almost isn't fair how much they have when Mommy hardly has any now.

I can officially call her my little Vampire Baby.  haha!  She has her bottom 2 teeth (which she has had for a while now), but the next two that have come in are her 2 top eye teeth.  So when she smiles, it looks like a little vampire!  It is rediculously cute too.  Hopefully I'll be able to capture a good photo of them and post them for you.

My little dancer also found a new genre of music that she LOVES and dances to all the time.  Daddy Bear set up a Hank Williams station for our Pandora.  We played it on the big stereo and as soon as she heard it she started dancing.  It is WAY toooooo cute!!!  I really need to sneak up on her and video it for you to see.

We love you all,

1 year old

It is so hard to believe the day finally came...my little girl turned 1 year old this weekend.  Where on earth did the time go?  One minute we are rolling over, the next we are walking around the house with a trash can!  This past year has been one of the most exciting, fun-filled adventures of my life.  So, with that I will leave my little toddler a note...

My Little Bird,

You are the most precious miracle of my life.  It is an honor to be your Mommy.  I have enjoyed every single minute with you.  Through all the "firsts" and definately not "lasts", we have established an incredible bond.  Your Big Blue eyes and ready smile are always the highlight of my life.  I still can't get over how funny you are!  And how intelligent you are and how much you love to work hard for what you want.  You are truly your Daddy's girl with your helping spirit.  You are such a good helper!  It doesn't matter the chore, dishes or laundry, you love being near us and lending a helping hand.  While you are a very determined and strongwilled person, you are also a very sweet, nurturing, giving little lady.  Everyday, in all different situations, I learn more and more about who you are.

I am so very blessed to have you as my daughter.  I can't wait for all the stuff we can do together and all the wonderful moments ahead.  I pray everyday for you.  I hope to set an example of a worthy woman of God for you...I do not promise to be perfect, but I will always look out for you, love you, comfort you, nurture you, push you, hold you, listen to you, and much more.

My little Bird,  I love you forever and always...

Your Mommy

We have a Walker

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our little girl is no longer a baby...she is now entering the Toddler stage.  She has been walking exclusively since a week before her 11mth bday.  She no longer falls and reverts to crawling...she falls and picks herself back up to a standing position.  ***sigh***  Where did the time go?  How is this possible?  It just doesn't seem like she should even be able to  be a little person...But, Daddy and Mama both love each new stage, each new discovery, each new little thing.  She is the pride and joy of our lives.  We can't wait to bring little brother into our lives either.  xoxo

It is time...

Let me begin with a fun new diddy Little Lady has learned how to do!  She will now give a High Five!  She continues to clap daily and now will give High Fives on request.  It is soooo cute!

Well, Daddy and I agreed that today would be the day.  We are officially saying Little Bit is walking.  She doesn't walk everywhere, but she is working her way there.  She is much more confident and trusting herself to walk to where she wants to go.  It is a bit bittersweet because this is one of the turning points from the end of her "baby" days and the start of toddler days...What happened to the last year?  Has it really been a year?  I can't believe it...sheesh!

Lastly,  I reckon it is ok to say now Little Bit is going to be the big sister to a Baby Brother!  :)  Oh what fun!

Much Love Family and Friends!

A new twist (kind of)

I had to update this tonight.  It is almost too crazy to believe, but it is true.  Little Lady tried to do a somersault on her own.  Usually, her Daddy flips her feet over head.  She will tuck her little head, put her arms up, and roll through once Daddy flips.  Tonight the little booger positioned herself in downward facing dog on her tip toes and tried to somersault herself!!!!  I cant believe she knows how to do it herself.  It is absolutely mind blowing how quickly she catches on to stuff.  A-maz-ing Folks.  Simply amazing.

Lots of Love

Little Outdoor-sie Missy

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We have an official Tracker Girl!  Today she rode with her Mama on the tracker and helped Daddy with Grandma Ju-Ju's yard.  She was such a big help!  She even moved the lever to move the bucket up and down!  Let me just tell you, she had a blast!

Daddy finally got to experience Boo-boo walking first hand.  She actually walked to him which just melted his little Daddy heart.  :)

Miss Thang has a healthy appetite, but nothing is better than Mama and Daddy's food.  She practically lunges herself at us, crawls up us, what ever she can to get to our food.  It is sooo funny.  I am grateful for her avid interest in all kinds of food.

She was sick this past week with her first (and hopefully last) bout with Strep as well as Roseola.  It was not a fun week for any of us.  Two trips to the doctor and several sleepless nights later, we are finally seeing the end.  It was very difficult seeing my little boo bear sick.  :(  But, she is pretty much done with it and has been such a trooper.

Hope you all are having a great spring/summer!

We have some sad, sad news...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The day has come for our little AJ to take her first few steps.  Mommy and Daddy were not there to see it, but Grandma JuJ-u  called immediately.  Apparently, she was between Ju-Ju and her Gigi and (without thinking about it) took 3 steps to get from Ju-Ju to Gigi's legs.  Then, today she took 2 more steps from Ju-Ju to her toy...Mama and Daddy are trying really hard to get her to walk between the two of us, but so far, no luck.  We will keep ya'll posted!

Our Crazy Climbing Cutie

Folks,

Not only do we have a future rock climber on our hands, but also a ball player!!!  She went to her toys, grabbed her soccer-ball size bouncy ball and threw it!  Then, she preceded to chase after it.  Once she got to it, she hit it hard so it would bounce/roll far away from her and went after it again!!!  She squealed the entire time.  After we finished eating dinner,  Daddy Bear got on the floor and played with her.  He picked the ball up and bounced it to her.  When she got it, she picked it up herself and bounced it to him!!!  Then, the pair played soccer with her kicking it (holding onto Daddy's hands of course).  What a special moment.

When I went to get BooBoo from Grandma Ju-Ju's, we had another moment.  I picked her up to hug and kiss her.  While I was holding her trying my darnest to get sugars, she pointed at the ceiling light.  There is a pull cord on it to turn it on/off. Her Daddy showed her a week ago that if she pulls it, the light would turn off.  Apparently she remembered.  This is the first time she has ever pointed at something she wanted.  It is the beginning of a whole lotta mess!  haha!

She tried Green Peppers and a Baked Potato tonight at dinner.  Of course, she chomps on all of it while Yummmuuuummmm-ing the entire time.

Now its time to wash the little outdoor-sy girl and get her in the bed!

Lots of Love,
~Mama Bear

We have the arrival of our 2nd tooth!

Good evening all!
As usual, it has been a very busy month.  Mama Bear has been studying up a storm and Daddy has been taking care of all of us.  So here is our new list since the last time we wrote.

Boo Boo has had another tooth pop out.  It is the other bottom middle.  She did have a top, left middle tooth cap, but a few days later it had gone back up into the gum.  We will just have to wait til it emerges completely, which wont be long!  She constantly chews on everything and drools!

A couple of weeks ago we all went out for GreatAunt B.'s Birthday.  Adelynn was at the opposite end of the table and started to clap.  Well, everyone at the table clapped with her.  Little Bit watched Billy (Adelynn's step-grandpaw) who was clapping along with the rest of us.  She started to mimic his claps and has literally been clapping with excitement since then.  She even raises her hands high above her head as if to say Yay; then she claps away.

On March 16th, Mama dragged the family to Claire's.  We got Boo-boo's ears pierced.  Yes, she cried; Yes, I felt awful; Yes, Daddy was not a happy camper; Yes, she is adorable with them.... :)  So, the experience was not good for Mama and Daddy.  But, Little Bit was over it before we were.We will post pictures soon!

She has recently been giving kisses!!!  Mama was so jealous the other week because she gave Adelynn 2 big kisses...Now, I was jealous because I have to beg the child for Mama kisses and Daddy is lucky if he gets a cheek!  This past friday Beautiful Baby started giving Mama Bear kisses!!!  It is soooo stinking sweet!!!!  And today she gave her Daddy the BIGGEST HUG ever!  We were playing outside (in the 80 degree weather) when she wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder.  Mama and Daddy just about cried it was soo sweet!  **sigh**

Daddy Bear wanted me to include that he officially fixed his 1st baby toy.  Her favorite singing sun needed a battery replaced, so Daddy came to the rescue!  He was so excited he officially fixed it.  Too cute!

As mentioned in previous posts, Little Bit LOVES the outdoors.  Since the weather has been absolutely beautiful at 80 degrees, we spent a lot of time outside.  We went to Chickasaw park Saturday on a spur of the moment trip.  AJ couldn't have been happier.  She grinned the whole time we played.  She loves sliding down the slides, swinging with Mama and by herself, and of course eating grass.  The rest of the weekend she played in the grass, crawled all over the workout mats in the garage, tried to eat rocks, walked around all over, and rode in the neighbor's wagon.  She played sooo hard and had a great time.

Well, since Mama and Daddy need every moment of sleep, we need to get off here and go to bed.  We love you all!

Our First Tooth

Ladies and Gentlemen,  we have the arrival of our 1st tooth!!!  It is the bottom left and man is it sharp!    When it was coming through, she was with her daddy.  He said she was drooling all over the place.  He had to go to Target to buy some stuff, so he decided to get her some teething biscuits...Let me tell you folks, she LOVES them!!!!  We have to watch her while she eats them because Turkey butt can "bite" a hunk off and cant seem to figure out why she cant swallow it!

She went to the doctor this week and was given a clean bill of health. Yay!  Her doctor forewarned us that Little Bit will probably walk before 12mths.  Yikes!  What just kills us is how quickly she is growing and changing.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, AJ has the ability to stand on her own.  Now, she can hold the pose and pull off her little sticky things in the tub.  Yesterday, she stood up, grabbed hold of her sticky toys, ripped it off the side of the tub, and sat down again all by herself!  Amazing!!!

She continues to love to use "GiGi's" walker as her own personal walker.  She holds onto the bottom bar and takes off!  Of course, someone walks with her and holds the arm rails as she practically runs around Grandma Ju-Ju's living room and kitchen.

I guess now is a good time if any to announce that Little Bit will be a BIG SISTER come August this year.  I thought last year went by fast...what does that mean for this year?!

Love to you all!

Valentine's Day
Happy Love Day to you all!  We had a wonderful day with the love of our life...Baby Girl!  Daddy bought her the BEST valentine's gift ever...Heart shaped tissue paper!!!  Needless to say, she absolutely loved it!  We had a blast watching her rip it up, try to eat it, and dance with it.  Here is our favorite picture of the day.

Finding Mama's Door where she studies
Today Little Bit came looking for her Mama.  At my folks house I study downstairs in the basement.  We keep the door on the main level closed so she can't fall down the stairs.  While I was wrapping one section of my homework up, I hear this "slap slap slap" of little hands crawling reeally quickly upstairs.  Then, a pause and a "bang bang bang...with a AAAhhhooommmaaaa"...Little Precious had crawled herself to the door I usually appear and disappear in and out of in search of me.  I cant even describe the sweet feelings that stirred in my heart.  xoxoxo

Knocking on the window...actual close fisted knocks
Today, Little Bit all of a sudden knocked on the wall and later on a window with her closed fist.  She knocked like a big person knocks on a door.  Too cute

Words:  Mmamaaa....Dadadaaa...Du(ck)...Bababab (Im hungry!)
We have established the beginnings of a vocabuly with Mamamamama and Daddadadadad...well, we can now add Bababbaba (bottle....im HUNGRY) and Du(ck).  She watches us intently as we try out new words.  You can see her little lips imitating ours as she works it out herself.  So very cute..and loads of fun too!

Video of her laughing
I took a video of her laugh today.  It was about time we did this because that sweet baby laugh will soon take form into a big girl laugh.  Enjoy!  (my computer won't load the video at this time. Ill try to get it up this weekend if I can figure it out!)
And lastly, Big girl stood up for a few seconds again tonight.  She didnt even think about it.  All of a sudden, I see her just standing there, upright, great balance, no problems.  Then she eases herself down to a squat until she sits on the floor.  Absolutely AMAZING.

She continues to be the SWEETEST baby in the world.  Fiesty, headstrong, and determined, but the sweetest, lovable-est, cuddle bunny in our world.  We love her so much...Here are a few more pictures to show you her growth!

Well, AJ has met Karma...the other Daddy and Big Girl were outside playing.  Boo boo head decided she wanted to eat a leaf.  She tried shoving it down her throat, but Daddy kept her from eating it.  Sooo, she turned her little body around with the thought that if she didn't see him, then obviously he didn't see her.  As soon as she lifted her hand to put the leaf in her mouth, the wind blew it out of her little grasp.  Daddy absolutely loved the fact that she finally met Karma.  haha!
Also, our little Love Bug is the world's best sharer.  She doesn't go through one day without trying to share her food, chew toys, teething biscuits, whathaveyou with us.  It is the most sweetest thing ever!

More Major Milestones

If she could just stop growing so quickly, I might have more time to update this blog!  haha!  Sooo, since we have a very long list of happenings, I will be brief with each.  But let me tell you, some of them are sooo funny...I giggle even as I write!

Even though Boo-Boo hasn't had her teeth come in, I have decided to "share" some of my food with her.  I let her taste the juice of apple slices, pickles, and such.  At first she didn't know what the heck I was offering her, so she did the closed mouth taste test.  It only took two mini-tastes before her mouth was wide open each time I offered her anything.  In fact, she bit off a piece of my strawberry I gave her to lick.  That about scared the daylights out of me!  I thought she was surely going to choke, but she did not...much to my relief!  Her favorite "adult" food are pickles!!!  She cant get enough of them!  haha!

Lately, our precious angel has taken to GROWLING at us when she is upset or doesn't want to do what we are doing.  For example, getting dressed in the morning she likes to push Mama's buttons and try to roll over.  I flip her back where I can finish and the Turkey Growls at me!!!  literally, GRrrrrrrrr....hahaha!!!!  It is so funny you can't help but laugh.  And I'll take growling over those high pitch squeals any day!

Last week, Baby Girl "danced" for us.  It is the cutest thing EVER!  She sits on her bottom, raises her arms outstretched over her head,  and uses her feet to circle all the way around.  All this is done with a huge smile on her face, some times as she babbles to herself.  She also will spontaneously lift her arms up and giggle or babble or smile periodically throughout the day.

She figured out how to make one of her toys play the song she wants to hear.  Just to clarify, this is a toy steering wheel that plays several songs, and not in succession.  She will beat the horn until her favorite song comes on, look at us as she loves to have us sing along.  If by chance she hits it too many times and misses the song, she will continue to beep the horn until it plays again.  It totally cracks me up.  One week she could care less, the next she figures out she Likes the songs/toy, she has a favorite song, AND she knows how to get it to play on her own!!!  She is so smart...I know I am biased!  ;-)

Two days ago Daddy stuck his tongue out at her.  She thought it was the silliest thing, but you could tell the wheels in her head were turning.  Later that day, she stuck her own tongue out!!!!  Since then, she constantly sticks it out.  Generally, she has it stuck out the side of her mouth and it curls.  I swear it is the cutest thing ever.  haha!

Not that the above details has given insight to a rapidly growing girl, but let me tell you...She KNOWS she is a big girl now.  While taking a bath, she up and decides to stand up.  First, when she did this originally, she would hold onto the side of the tub for leverage.  But the other night, she tried to crawl up her daddy (since daddies are nothing but big jungle gyms) while they were taking a bath.  She let go of holding onto him and stood straight up for just under a minute (no joke!) not holding onto ANYTHING.  We just about fell out!  We could not believe what we were witnessing...*sigh*...she is growing up too quickly.  The first time she stood up by herself it was at our friend's house Jan 7.  She was pushing a wheelie-cart around and for 3 seconds she had let go and was standing upright.  It was amazing.  But after watching her bath time accomplishment, it took my breath away.

Last, but certainly not least.  I had to save the best for last.  TODAY our little Sweetness said Da-Da for the first time.  I was changing her and she was just babbling away.  Of course, her little tongue was sticking out and out of the blue she starts with bdaaa...then she put it together and said Dada...not only did she do that, but she followed it up with Ma-ma....People, I almost cried.  What a sweet, most precious moment for us...my only wish is that she will say it to Daddy Bear himself.

We love this kid so very much.  I could not have fathomed the intense emotions and unconditional love parents have for their children.  What cracks me up is that before Baby I never understood the crazy obsession parents had for their children.  It was like they didn't have a life other than their babies.  I thought "how weird and strange these people are...don't they have other interests without bringing up their kids???"  Hahahaa!!!!  I totally get it...well, I don't really, but what I do understand is that it is like a switch in your brain that flips on once that little pea pod comes out...your whole life now revolves around them, whether you intend for it to happen or not.  I thought I might include this lovely Mama reflection for you.

We love you all very much,
Mama Bear

Sorry folks. January flew by!

Hello Loved Ones!
January has been a crazy, insane ride for us!  So I apologize for not updating regularly.  Much and more has been happening for Little Bit...my goodness, where to start!

One day, about 1 week before her 8 mth birthday, all of a sudden Baby Girl decided she wasn't going to army crawl any more.  Since then, she has been traveling on hands and knees.  I have a feeling as soon as her legs strengthen a bit more she will be up and walking...both Daddy and I are NOT looking forward to the craziness that shall ensue...hhaha!  I say this because this Girl, she WANTS to walk.  She hardly wants to be sat down on her bottom.  As I place her down, her little legs stiffen and she grasps my fingers even tighter.  Haha!

Let me just inform you all of her personality.  She is a BEAST!  The sweetest, cutest, little rotten stubborn butt you will ever meet.  Her determination and ferocity to do exactly what she has her mind set on will be both her success and my downfall!  Ha!  At 8 mths old she is already testing her boundaries, constantly pushing Mama and Daddy's little buttons all the while with a smile that is brighter than the sun.  Not only that, but she GIGGLES as she looks at us while she messes with the No-No's...Sheesh.

We decided to go ahead and put down that her first words are definitely Yummmm-Yummm-mmmooommm  while she eats every meal.  It is the most hilarious scene to watch.  Every time I crack up.  I will also mention that she does in fact say Mom...she does know that I am mom and occasionally she directs to me.  Soooo...I reckon these are her first "official" words.  :)

I need to run home, but I will add a few other "happenings" from this month!

With Lots of Love,
Mama Bear
